For first time visitors to our properties, we know you’ll have lots of questions to ask and that’s ok! Below you’ll find a list of our most frequently asked questions and queries that we have answered to the best of our ability. You are always very welcome to contact us ahead of your stay should you have further queries.
Ground Floor accommodation is available in all our properties. Some properties do have steps on entry. Hotlby grange cottages has a disabled friendly cottage.
The minimum age for check-in is 18
There is complimentary wi-fi throughout our properties so you can stay connected throughout your holiday.
Sycamore Apartments / St Mary’s Guesthouse – £15 per day.
Holtby Grange Cottages – We have a free car park on site with ample amount of spaces.
Please check policy conditions at the time of booking. These can be variable according to what was stipulated on the booking platform when the booking was made.
Check in between 15:00 and 22:00. Check out by 10:00. Please do get in touch if you need us to consider alternative arrangements. We need to allow sufficient time for the accommodation to be cleaned in between stays in York
Any charges incurred for damage to our properties will be payable in full. Please note all our properties are strictly non smoking both within and in the grounds.
We want all our guests to have a relaxed and enjoyable stay at our properties and with that in mind, we reserve the right to refuse entry to any guest who behaves in an inappropriate manner. This extends to a guest or guests being under the influence of drugs and / or alcohol, abusive behaviour towards our staff or other guests, aggression, or unacceptable dress and noise disturbance. In such circumstances there will be no refunds whatsoever. For the safety of all those staying with us we may ask guests behaving in this manner to leave the guest house. Should we eject a guest on these grounds refunds will not be given.
We do not accept stag / hen parties or large groups. Should you wish to make a group booking of over 10 people, please contact us prior to making a booking.
Yes! We welcome little ones to our properties – if you need a cot or a high chair please let us know well in advance.
York Accommodation is not liable for the loss or damage of any guest property during their stay or caused by the misconduct or negligence of a guest or an Act of God, the establishment is not responsible for guest belongings, liable or responsible for any damage to guest vehicles whilst staying with us.
For your safety and well-being we DO NOT allow any pets on the premises with the exception of guide dogs. These must be registered with us in advance.
Our official website is the only booking platform where best rates are guaranteed.
Any guests found to have been smoking in our properties will have a £150.00 fine applied to their payment card to cover the costs of fumigating the rooms / apartments and their booking will be terminated forthwith without any refund of monies paid.
