Yule (pardon the pun) be amazed at the sights that await you at York’s most popular Christmas Tree Festival which takes place from November 30th to 5th January 2025 at the stunning medieval York Minster. The ticketed event has 70 trees on display all beautifully and lovingly decorated by local schools, charities and businesses, all designed to keep the spirit of Christmas alive and kicking. Entry is free with general admission.
York’s Christmas Markets are open! York is gaining quite the reputation as the place to go to experience the magic of Christmas Markets. As 75 chalet/stalls line the streets around Parliament Street and St. Sampsons Square, enjoy indulging in delicious festive treats, and mulled wine as you peruse the markets looking for the perfect Christmas gift.
